The Linville Hotel
We've just returned from spending the weekend at Linville and The Linville Hotel. We started out on Saturday by driving to Toowoomba. Then we called in to Crows Nest to visit the soft drink factory which has been producing traditional soft drinks in glass bottles since 1903. We bought a carton and a half to put away for Christmas so we could get some of each flavour. We bought creaming soda, double sars, raspberry, lime, portabello, musk, mandarin, ginger ale, lemon lime and bitters and cherry cheer. After leaving the factory we continued on to Yarraman and Blackbutt before calling in to Linville as we had been wanting to visit the old pub there. It is such a lovely spot in the world and we were having such a wonderful time that we decided to stay the night despite not having so much as a change of clothes or toothbrush.
